Eddie Deyo, CTO of GK, has been named a winner at the Globee® Awards for Technology in the category Chief Technology Officer of the Year in IT Software. The award reflects Eddie Deyo and GK's commitment to innovation, excellence, and the continuous development of cutting-edge solutions in the technology sector.

The Globee® Awards for Technology recognize the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and individuals around the world. At the 19th Annual Globee® Awards, Eddie Deyo, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at GK, was recognized in the “Chief Technology Officer of the Year in IT Software” category for the company’s pioneering role in the transition to cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) technology.

Since his appointment as CTO in 2021, Eddie has driven GK’s transition to cloud-based technologies, particularly in the Americas. This led to remarkable growth last year, with GK’s customers launching more than 25,000 new POS installations in over 2,000 stores in 2023, including large department stores and convenience stores in North America and Europe.

Throughout GK’s impressive growth, Eddie has worked hard to ensure that the strong company culture remains intact. From supporting developers in debugging sessions to managing complex customer interactions, Eddie continues to place great emphasis on relationships within GK.
