GK is number one in Europe for new retail POS installations according to the RBR Global POS Software Study 2023.
For the fifth year in a row, GK is the number one POS software installer in the retail sector worldwide. According to the Global POS Software 2023 study published by the British analyst group RBR Data Service, GK once again defended its top position in this area (study period: June 2022 to June 2023). The analysts evaluated the market shares of over 120 POS software providers in the 48 most important countries.
Globally, GK ranks fourth in terms of total POS installations, moving up one place compared to the previous year. During the period under review, customers worldwide were able to go live with over 25,000 new installations in more than 2,000 stores using GK solutions. These included large retail chains, food retailers, petrol stations and convenience stores. Growth in the USA was particularly strong. GK was able to realize around five percent of all new installations in the world's largest retail market. In the grocery sector, one in four new point of sale installations came from GK (26%).
GK is the market leader for total POS installations in both Germany and Eastern Europe. GK is therefore the global leader in omnichannel solutions for food retail and has experience in many retail sectors. More than 570,000 installations worldwide speak for themselves.
